UNC Latina/o Studies Program Café y Charla Open House

Dear Friends,

We hope you will come and break bread with us at our spring 2020 Latina/o Studies Program Café y Charla open house. At the café y charla, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some delicious pupusas and coffee in the company of a variety of LSP friends, including LTNO minors, UNC undergraduates, graduates, and professors.

Guests will also have the opportunity to hear about interesting Latinx-related scholarship and projects being carried out by folks in our UNC community. We will host the Café y Charla on Monday, February 24, 2020 beginning at 5:15PM in Donovan Lounge (Greenlaw Hall 223).

In addition to sharing some pupusas with coffee and lemonade among friends, those attending the café y charla will also enjoy Professor Guillermo Rodríguez-Romaguera’s talk, “Quixotic Horror and Latinx Audiences: The Paradox of Latinx Exclusion from the Horror Film.”
