The Literature of the Americas Working Group is a graduate student community fostering interdisciplinary research focused on the multi-ethnic literatures of the Americas.  Meetings are held three times a semester and take an open format that encourages engagement with a wide range of topics and approaches.  The agenda for the year is usually set at the first meeting, where participants select readings for discussion and set up a workshopping schedule.  The group is housed in the English and Comparative Literature Department, and supported by the Center for the Study of the American South and the UNC Latina/o Studies Program.  To join or request more information, contact Rachel Norman.
